Nashville Scene calls her a "cross between Joan Armatrading and the jazzier excursions of Joni Mitchell." Shana has written over one hundred songs: Florida Folk, environmental, pro-activist and spirit-lifting. Her originals cover a broad range of topics such as rivers, produce stands, sweet tea, hot sauce, motherhood, and oak trees. She also has about five hours worth of cover material (list provided upon request), from well-known to obscure. Her latest recording is called "Oak Tree In the Garden."
Go Bananas! Shana has entertained children and families for over two decades, winning Parents' Choice, NAPPA, iParenting, Just Plain folks awards along the way, and two Grammy nominations.. She has four CD's and two DVD's.
